A newspaper is a publication that’s printed on low-cost paper containing news, information and advertising, and advertising makes a majority of newspaper’s income. Newspapers are mostly published on daily or weekly basis with the news about one particular geographic area. Therefore, the audience of newspaper is usually the ones who live in that area or the ones who are interested in the news of that area. Some articles in newspapers also include the personal opinions of writers, and it is divided into five different categories such as daily newspaper, weekly newspapers, national newspapers, local newspaper, and international newspapers. Since newspapers are record of current events, the profession of making newspaper is called journalism.
